Privacy Policy

Our Commitment To Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.

The Information We Collect

This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the website. On some pages, you can make requests, and register to receive materials. The types of personal information collected at these pages are:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Email address
  • Phone number
The Way We Use Information

We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete that request for information. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that process.

We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

You can register with our website if you would like to receive our newsletter as well as updates on our new products and services. Information you submit on our website will not be used for this purpose unless you fill out the applicable registration form.

We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website but we would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals.

Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

Online Payment

If you choose our direct payment gateway to complete your online payment, then PayPal or Stripe (for transaction using Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover) handles your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your payment transaction. After that is complete, your transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and PayPal.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our online payment portal and its service providers.

For more insight, you may also want to read PayPal’s Privacy Statement here or Stripe’s Terms of Service here.

Our Commitment To Data Security

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption.  Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

Third-Party Websites

For your convenience, we may provide links to other websites and web pages that we do not control. This Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that MAFECS does not own or control, or to individuals that MAFECS does not employ or manage. The privacy and security practices of websites linked to or from MAFECS websites are not covered by this Privacy Policy, and MAFECS is not responsible for the privacy or security practices or the content of such websites.

Changes on Our Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.

How You Can Access Or Correct Your Information

You can inquire about all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain by contact our Privacy Compliance Officer at Info@mafecs.com or by mail at MAFE Computer Services, LLC. We use this procedure to better safeguard your information.
